This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop offs will not be permitted.

Event Details

This 30 minute drop-in storytime is geared for Children of all ages. 

Family Storytime is lead by one of our children's librarians, Jess, and is an interactive session of stories, songs, and activities. We adjust the content each week to match the age and wiggliness of the children attending. This storytime is typically geared for preschool and early elementary children with songs and activities to also engage toddlers and babies. Parents should plan to attend and actively engage with their children.

Registration is not required for most storytimes.
We meet nearly every week year-round.

We cancel children’s events whenever Mason City Schools close due to Severe Weather. Delays do not count as closings.
